Diaper Envelope

I have finally finished the rebrand of one pattern. The process has been slower than I would have hoped. But like anything in life it takes more than hope to accomplish something.

I designed this sewing pattern back when my little sister has small babies, her oldest is now 18 years old. This used to be a popular free pattern on one of the craft sites before they rebranded. This little pouch holds a diaper and some wipes. It makes it easy to quickly grab out of a larger bag or take out on its own.

I will start loading the free patterns on a Patreon account I have started. You only need the free subscription to get the free patterns. I haven’t figure out how I’m going to do the rest of the patterns.

For now my sewing patterns are still listed on my Etsy shop still under the business name that was stolen from me. The person that stole my business name has contacted me serval times asking to buy my domain name. So I’ve been stubborn and left everything up jus the way it was.

My anger hasn’t served me well. So I am finally moving on. I have a quote on a post it from a long time ago, so I’m not sure where I got it from.

“To believe that someone or something can make us feel offended, angry, hurt or bitter diminishes our moral agency and transforms us into objects to be acted upon. As agents, however , you and I have the power to act and to choose how we will respond.”

It was just a business name. I am Sonia Valdez and even if there is another Sonia Valdez out there. It can’t be taken from me.
